Profile

Ms. Borowsky has limited her practice to civil litigation since being admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 1994. The majority of her legal career has focused primarily on community association representation, specifically defective construction issues. A native of the Valley, Ms. Borowsky completed her undergraduate degree at Arizona State University. Thereafter, she attended St. John’s University, School of Law, where she was awarded her Juris Doctorate in 1993.

Prior to her career in law, Ms. Borowsky had extensive experience in managing multi-family dwellings, working up the ranks in her family’s apartment business. Ms. Borowsky has a broad background in real estate and real estate law, including extensive litigation experience primarily focused upon construction issues. Ms. Borowsky serves regularly as a court appointed arbitrator.

Prior to founding BOROWSKY LAW, Ms. Borowsky worked with several large, multi-state law firms primarily representing homeowners and associations dealing with defective construction issues. Having been exposed to many years of litigating on behalf of these clients, Ms. Borowsky recognized the disadvantages they faced by becoming involved in expensive and time-consuming lawsuits. When she started her own practice, she elected to focus on settlement oriented representation, where possible, in an effort to obtain an effective resolution for her clients more expeditiously and with less expensively to the client. Since beginning this pursuit in early 2006, Ms. Borowsky has favorably resolved construction disputes for many clients without becoming involved in the typical litigation process.

Ms. Borowsky is active in the Community Associations Institute and Arizona Association of Community Managers, both of which support and educate the community associations industry. Additionally, Ms. Borowsky is a Republican Precinct Committeeman and has been active at the State Legislature as a proponent on various issues, both professionally and personally. Aside from her legal career, Ms. Borowsky was a contributing writer to the CITY/AZ Magazine and appeared as a weekly commentator on KPNX Channel 12. Ms. Borowsky’s personal interests include raising her beautiful daughter, riding and raising quarter horses, skiing, food and travel.
